This guest cottage in South Woodstock, VT, is an Energy Star rated house and is equipped with an air exchange system as well as radiant heat throughout. The siding is made of extruded PVC shingles.
The windows are energy efficient, and the custom cabinets and railing details were produced by Lance Ballard Builders. The wood floors were made from one hundred and fifty-year old hemlock boards, which offer an interesting contrast to the modern features of the house.
